So I stumbled across this post
on SwissMiss the other day.
. . .
I was instantly floored
and hungry.
But more importantly, was the fact
that I looked at the name of the designer,
and said, “NO WAY!”
. . .
Beverly Hsu is someone that I got to know very well
while we took the same SAT Prep classes together years ago.
We used to sit and doodle while we were supposed to be
“preparing for the most important test of our lives” (HA.)
Instead, I remember talking about art school
and what we really wanted to do.
. . .
I’m so amazed by the work she’s produced,
and excited to see what’s to come.
. . .
Congrats Bev, and keep up the good work!

Shop Update!
Wednesday, January 27th, 2010
There will be a HUGE shop update in the next couple hours.
I’m leaving on a trip Friday
to visit family I have not seen in years. I’m very excited.
So, I wanted to get the shop well stocked before I left.
. . .
I’ll post here again when it’s all said and done,
but for now I leave you with some more photos of my new iPhone case!
(Far superior to those of last night that I shot basically in the dark.)

Have You Heard: Bambu
Sunday, March 22nd, 2009
Also, on the same note as World Wide Fred, Bambu is a great company that makes bamboo kitchen utensils and bowls. They are wonderfully simple, but beautiful at the same time. I can’t wait to move to my new home and fill my kitchen with them!
Low bamboo bowls great for daily use.
A three part tray perfect for appetizers!
Bambu can also be found at many local stores. Yay for beautiful things!
Have You Heard: World Wide Fred

World Wide Fred has to be one of my favorite companies. Not only are their products useful, but they are hilarious.
Here are just a few of their amazing products.
Sewer cap doormats that look exactly like the ones in these cities!
They make some fantastic ice cube trays. This is one of my favorites.
Guitar shaped ice cubes! I recently sent these to my best friend, an avid guitarist.
Best of all, many of their products can be found in many local stores. No waiting for them to ship!
Oops! Work I forgot to show you.

Here are a few images from my recent show at the Wilgus Gallery, which I forgot to post here. Enjoy!

Mmmm Water.
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009
So, I drink a lot of water. I’ve been hunting for a great water bottle for a while now. I had one that I used for about 5 years. It was great. I could fit a nifty straw in it and I could hang it on my bag. The only flaw was that it was pink, which is not my color. About two years ago it broke during an Ikea excursion, and I’ve been trying to find one ever since.
The perfect water bottle is hard to find, well for me it is.
Anyways, my birthday is tomorrow, but my great friend Justin decided to give me my present today since I probably won’t be seeing him tomorrow.
He bought me the PERFECT water bottle.
I’ve been lusting after everything in this store called a plus r. They have beautifully designed products, and I’ve been looking at the kor one hydration vessel for a while.
It’s great! It’s much bigger than I expected it to be, but that’s even better
Thanks thanks thanks go out to Justin!
